A New Chapter

Dear Friends,

I started BRYR 14 years ago out of my living room with a crazy dream to make beautiful, handmade clogs. Today, when I look out at the studio, I have to pinch myself with what BRYR has become- it’s so much more than I ever could have dreamed of! A lot has changed in the world in the past 14 years, and through all the changes, our north star has always been that we make beautiful products that we feel proud of and that our small business is sustainable.

Back in 2021, we moved into a new beautiful space and created a new retail shop. The world was beginning to open up after the pandemic, and we were so excited to be with you guys in-person again. I feel incredibly proud of the retail experience the team created together. We put a lot of heart and soul into the space- it truly was a dream realized. We have met so many of you and that has been so special for us.

But things change, and in the past few months we have been facing the hard truth that traditional retail is not sustainable for our business. And so it’s with a lot of gratitude that I’m sharing that we are closing our retail shop.

We are excited about this new chapter. Making this big change will allow us to focus on growing our on-line business. We want to stay connected to our community and so we plan to create a community event series. More to come on that soon.

Our last shop day will be this Saturday, February 14th. We will be celebrating the retail space with refreshments all day. We will be selling select Shop Samples at 20% off starting on Saturday (Samples that show wear). We open our doors at 11am on Saturday and close at 6pm.

I hope you will come down to say goodbye to the shop with us and welcome this new chapter with us.
