Located in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, our Brick and Mortar retail shop is our flagship store. It's a beautiful space for our customers to come try on and purchase clogs, and get to know our brand better. The retail associate represents our brand, and is an important member of our team. The responsibilities of the PT retail associate are to assist our customers with their purchase, represent our brand well and maintain a beautiful, organized and functional retail shop. You’ll assist with special projects - such as internal pop ups, external markets and our big annual sample sale.

Part Time Retail Store Associate (Weekends/Flexible)

Areas of responsibility:

  • Work on the retail floor on weekends and some holidays. 
  • In a welcoming, helpful and professional way, aid our customers in finding their best style and fit.
  • Accurately check people out using our POS system.
  • Communicate with our customers in a professional and helpful manner, in person or on the phone. 
  • Ensure that the retail facilities are clean, organized and productive to use, including daily tidying and cleaning.
  • Ensure that our in-stock merchandise is organized and accurately inventoried. Check-in inventory into our backend accurately.
  • Assist with building compelling and effective merchandising and display for the shop.
  • Assist with prep and execution of sales and loyalty events.
  • From time to time, reach out directly to our customers regarding orders or pick ups.
  • As needed, coordinate with the team on any specific customer questions or orders.
  • Contribute to the overall business culture and growth using our Culture Guide as a tool for self-reflection and an ongoing commitment to self-growth, the growth in others, and the growth of the company.
  • Contribute to the overall culture and business growth by participating in or leading improvement committees and projects when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Great communication skills
  • Great aesthetic eye
  • Superb collaboration skills 
  • No prior selling experience is required

Preferred Experience:

  • Some in-person sales experience, especially in clothing, homewares or shoes.

Physical Demands: This position is a includes working on the shop floor and require the following physical demands:

  • Walking and standing (about 6-8 hours per day)
  • Ability to see detail
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs

 Classification & Hours:

  • Part time/Weekend. This job is flexible and can be from 16-72 hours per month
  • Days: Saturdays and/or Sundays
  • In person only, no remote work

Job location:

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting rate for this position is ~$23 per hour paid bimonthly
  • Sick hours accrued as per SF mandate.
  • Free clog allowance of one pair per quarter (Must work a minimum of ~60 hours per quarter to qualify)
