Our Seasonal Shipping & Studio Associate is a vital part of our team, and they ensure that our materials are received smoothly, everything is stored and accounted for efficiently and the clogs leave our factory on time and look gorgeous!

We are looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail, exceptional work ethic, loves to keep things organized and enjoys fine-tuning processes to make them super efficient and productive. This person recognizes that at the end of the day, customer happiness is in delivering the details—from helping with the final finishing steps for clog production, to making sure their order is delivered on time,  to packing up their clogs beautifully and working with the team to follow up on a specific order—it’s ALL ultimately about customer happiness! The Seasonal Shipping & Studio Associate is a team player who loves to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. This is a hands-on physical job that requires equal comfort at the computer, on the phone to our freight shipper or receiving a palette of bases.

As a Seasonal Shipping & Studio Associate, you will be responsible for shipping out all clog orders on time and in order of priority and keeping the cut list updated and accurate. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing and storing all incoming materials, including but not limited to COGS materials, office materials and customer returns. You will assist the manufacturing team with making small leather items and with final finishing steps on the clogs. You are part of a great team, and an important part of your job is collaborating productively with your teammates to meet your team's goals together.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Timely and accurate fulfillment of all clog orders, including physically picking, packing, processing shipments, scheduling with mail partners, and reconciling order queue.
  • Receipt, inspection, cataloging and storage of all in-coming returned clogs, and coordination with the customer service team on order management.
  • Physical receipt, inspection, storage and cataloging of all incoming COGS, including but not limited to leather, bases, hardware, shipping boxes and materials.
  • Execute ongoing physical inventory and log inventory of in-house COGS, including leather, bases, hardware, and shipping supplies, etc.
  • Assist Manufacturing & Delivery manager on order follow up with orders
  • Assist Manufacturing & Delivery manager with freight coordination, communication with freight partners and physical receiving of goods
  • Assist purchasing office supplies admin, and physical receipt, storage and inventory of office supplies.
  • Admin office supplies budget and approval to the Office Manager
  • Assist production team with making small items such as key chains and other simple leather items.
  • Assist production team with final finishing steps for clogs
  • As needed, work at Bryr seasonal events
  • Assist Manufacturing & Delivery manager with other projects as they arise
  • Contributes to the overall business culture and growth using our Culture Guide as a tool for self-reflection and an ongoing commitment to self-growth, the growth in others, and the growth of the company.
  • Contributes to the overall culture and business growth by participating in improvement committees and projects when needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy with google and/or Microsoft spreadsheets 
  • Be a team player, and also able to work solo
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Be excited about your professional growth and willing to learn new things

Preferred Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in fulfillment and/or inventory management

Physical Demands

This position includes involves physical labor, including but not limited to: 

  • Standing (approx 5-6 hours per day)
  • Walking
  • Ability to see detail
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. 
  • Hammering
  • Pulling
  • Cutting

Classification & Hours

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am–4:30pm

Compensation & Benefits

  • The pay for this position is $24.50/hour
  • Sick hours accrued as per SF mandate.
  • Clog allowance and Friends & Family discount.

Supervision

  • Supervision provided by Manufacturing and Delivery Manager
