Hi! This Monday, March 30th, San Francisco officials decided to extend the 3-week shelter-in-place—originally set to end on April 7th—to Sunday, May 3rd. We are proud of our city’s leaders for doing their part to flatten the curve to save lives. We are complying with this legal order from our city, and we have closed our facilities until the order is lifted.

Here’s what that means at Bryr:
The motto we live by at Bryr is SAFE - RIGHT - FAST. Safety is our number one priority in everything that we do—not just for ourselves and our team but also for others and our community. This means that our factory and offices are closed and we are not currently manufacturing or shipping clogs.

We’re doing our part by continuing to work from home, and we are busy making a great plan for what work will look like at Bryr when we return. We don’t know specifics just yet, but our goal is to make and ship your clogs as soon as possible. Safety and productivity are our top priorities! We will be posting further updates here when we know more.

What this means for you and the clogs:
First of all, we want to say thank you for being here. If you weren’t, there wouldn’t be a you for us to talk to, any clogs to make or ship, and no Bryr, ultimately. Your continued support gives us hope and something to look forward to. We truly can’t wait to get back to making clogs and sending them to happy homes.

What this means if you order or have ordered in-stock clogs (including clogs from our in-stock inventory and online sample sale) or other in-stock items such as totes and swatches:
Your clogs, totes, and swatches are ready and at our studio. As soon as we are able to get back there, we’ll be shipping these to you in the order that they were purchased. You’ll get an email with tracking information as soon as your clogs, totes, and/or swatches are packed up and ready to go. Thank you so much for trusting us to ship your clogs as soon as we can. We so appreciate your support and patience!

What this means if you order or have ordered made-to-order clogs (including clogs from our made-to-order catalogue and the archive leather collection):
As usual, we have all materials at our studio, and as soon as we’re able to get back, we’ll make each and every pair of clogs, for you, by hand. You are in our queue, and we’ll be making your clogs in the order of that queue. We are dedicated to making your clogs safely, productively and to our HIGH quality level, and it is our top priority now and always! We’ll let you know as soon as your clogs are packed up and ready to go. Thank you so much for trusting us to make and ship your clogs as soon as we can. We so appreciate your support and patience!

What this means if you ordered a gift card:
Digital gift cards are emailed to you immediately! Check your inbox. They can be used online at your leisure or in store when we reopen, and they never expire. Thank you so much!

What this means if you were planning to visit our shop:
At this time, our retail shop is closed. Thank you so much for staying home! We look forward to seeing you when we reopen! We’ll let you know when that is here on this page and on Instagram.

If we have any further updates for your order specifically, we will reach out to you directly. For those of you who ordered before the San Francisco shelter-in-place (i.e. before March 16th), we have emailed you.

As you know, this situation is ever-changing and we’re learning of what’s happening in the world at the same rate as you. Our responsibility is to take that information and let you know what it means for Bryr and your orders. We’ll be updating this page as often as needed, so check back there if you’re feeling curious, or visit our Instagram.

If you have any questions, please know that we are HERE! We’ve set up a phone line for you to chat with us. If you’d like to schedule a 15-minute phone conversation with us, please click here. We’re excited to chat one-on-one with you. You may also email or direct message us and we’ll do our best to answer your questions. We’re all in this together!

P.S. This photo was taken last May :)
